How can I change my number of units of alcohol consumed per week?

To change this information, go to the application settings. To do so, tap on your avatar at the top left, then on the cogwheel at the top right. Next, scroll down to the "My Sobero Passport" section and select "Past Habits" and then "Unit(s) of alcohol per week".

How can I change the type of drink I consume the most?

To change this information, go to the application settings. To do so, tap on your avatar at the top left, then on the cog wheel at the top right. Next, scroll down to the "My Sobero Passport" section and select "Old Habits" and then "Drink Type".  

How can I change my average weekly spending on alcohol?

To change this information, go to the application settings. To do so, tap on your avatar at the top left, then on the cog wheel at the top right. Scroll down to the "My Sobero Passport" section and select "Old habits" and then "My weekly expenses".

I'm not receiving any notifications/too many notifications, how can I change that?

To change this, go to the application settings. Tap on your avatar at the top left, then on the cog wheel at the top right. Scroll down to the "My Sobero Passport" section and select "Notifications". Here you can choose to enable or disable each type of notification at your convenience.


Account and personal data 🔐

How can I be sure that my data is safe?

For ethical reasons, Sobero does not sell any data. Your trust is our priority.


You can find our privacy policy by going to the application settings. To do so, tap on your avatar at the top left, then on the cog wheel at the top right. Scroll down to the "About Sobero" section.

How do I delete my account and all my information?

You can delete your account from the application.

Here are the steps to follow:

  • In the application, go to "Settings". To do so, tap on your avatar at the top left, then on the cog wheel at the top right. In the "My Sobero Passport" section, tap on "Account Details".
  • From this screen, all you have to do is tap on "Delete my account" and your account will be permanently deleted.

I do not receive any email to reset my password.

We advise you to check your spam or junk mail carefully. Our emails tend to slip through. 😉

Why do I need to create an account to use Sobero?

Sobero needs an account with an email address to be able to link the user's profile to his consumption habits and thus personalize the features as much as possible according to his profile. Personal data is a very important issue for us: that's why we don't sell any data.


Subscriptions 📲

How do I unsubscribe?

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:

  • Open the "Settings" app.
  • Touch your name.
  • Touch "Subscriptions".
  • Touch the relevant subscription.
  • Touch "Cancel Subscription". You may have to scroll down to find the "Cancel Subscription" button.

If the subscription does not appear, it may have already been cancelled or you did not subscribe to Sobero.

I paid a Premium subscription but I don't have access to the features in the application, what can I do?

To solve this problem, tap on "Restore Purchases" on the screen that shows you the price of the application.

If this does not work, you can try to quit the application and restart it. If the problem persists, do not hesitate to contact us by email at hello@sobero.app. 

I took a one year subscription to take advantage of the free trial period but I was charged immediately afterwards, can you explain why?

Please note that if you have already taken advantage of this trial period in the past, you won't be granted it a second time. If you have been charged, chances are that you have already taken advantage of the free trial period, which is why you have been charged.


If you never took advantage of the trial period, but were still charged immediately afterwards, please contact us at hello@sobero.app. A member of our team will respond to you as soon as possible.à

Why do I have to pay to use Sobero?

Developing an application is a lot of work. By using Sobero, you are actively supporting us in the development of our app, and we thank you for that. 🙏

We try to have the fairest price possible. Not being subsidized by the state, and having many costs related to running a business, we cannot offer a completely free service. We would otherwise be unable to maintain and improve our service, in order to always better meet your needs.
